We often spend several hours each week commuting on public transport, yet usually we take for granted the voices and sounds of those journeys. In 2009, I spend several days of my regular commute recording those sounds and voices. Perhaps paradoxically, by placing the microhpone and headphones between me and the world, I came closer to that world and could hear things that I would not ordinarily have heard. This EP is a culmination of that process of engagement and is based around those recordings.
